Library Cards

Library cards are issued free to residents of Osceola, as well as surrounding Iowa communities through the State of Iowa Open Access Program.

A library card allows you to check out books, DVDs and other items from the library, plus your card number gives you access to online information. You do not need to have a card to use the computers in the library, or to fax or make copies.

To apply for a card, you must provide a photo ID with current name and address. If your ID does not have your current information, please provide some additional proof of name and address, such as a utility bill, rental agreement, pre-printed check, etc. Apply in person during library hours or fill out this form and e-mail it to osceolalib@osceola.lib.ia.us.

You may also access the Osceola Public Library Card form by following this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DztUketBL3PUk-0telRswMlWjso4FeZE/view?usp=sharing

If you lose your card, there is a $1.00 fee to replace a lost or stolen card.
